The Schenker ZEN 50 watermaker is a quiet, small, lightweight, efficient, and affordable nautical watermaker. It can be installed in any position, horizontally or vertically. The flow rates indicated are nominal and may vary by ±20% depending on actual operating conditions.
The Schenker ZEN 50 watermaker's electricity consumption is up to 80% lower than traditional systems. For example, to produce 60 liters/hour of fresh water, only 240 W is needed. Normal engine charging is therefore more than sufficient to replenish the energy consumed, without the need for a generator.
Thanks to its extremely low electricity consumption, the Schenker ZEN 50 marine watermaker can be powered directly from batteries. The watermaker can also be installed without a generator.
The Schenker ZEN 50 marine watermaker is extremely simple to use, as no adjustments are required. All systems are equipped with automatic pressure regulation. Therefore, direct access to the watermaker is not required. All functions are controlled remotely via the remote control panel.
The Schenker ZEN 50 marine watermaker does not use high-pressure pumps. The result is extremely quiet operation and a total absence of vibrations.
The 2.0 systems eliminate potentially wear-prone components such as O-rings and traditional hydraulic seals. The sealing and sliding elements are made with innovative nanotechnology pads, with abrasion resistance up to 15 times greater than steel.
As an alternative to the high-pressure pumps of traditional systems, Schenker systems use the new patented ENERGY RECOVERY SYSTEM®, which amplifies the pressure provided by low-pressure pumps, enabling extremely high energy efficiency. The typical power consumption of a Schenker watermaker is just 4 watts/liter.
The ERS was specifically designed for marine applications and is made of materials completely resistant to salt water. Moving parts are minimized, thanks to the patented solution that eliminates the need for pilot valves.
