SCHENKER ZEN 50 MINI TOUCH NAUTICAL WATERMAKER  

The Schenker ZEN 50 mini touch watermaker is a quiet, small, lightweight, efficient, and affordable nautical watermaker. It can be installed in any position, horizontally or vertically.
The flow rates indicated are nominal and therefore may vary by ±20% depending on actual operating conditions.

The electricity consumption of the Schenker ZEN 50 mini touch watermaker is up to 80% lower than traditional systems. For example, to produce 60 liters/hour of fresh water, only 240 W is sufficient. Normal engine charging is therefore more than sufficient to replenish the energy consumed, without the need for a generator.

Thanks to its extremely low electricity consumption, the Schenker ZEN 50 mini touch watermaker can be powered directly from batteries. The watermaker can also be installed without a generator.

The Schenker ZEN 50 mini touch watermaker is extremely simple to use, as no adjustments are required. In fact, all systems are equipped with automatic pressure regulation. Therefore, direct access to the watermaker is not required. All functions are controlled remotely via the remote control panel.

The Schenker ZEN 50 mini touch watermaker does not use high-pressure pumps. The result is extremely quiet operation and the total absence of vibrations.

In 2.0 systems, all components potentially subject to wear, such as O-rings and traditional hydraulic seals, have been eliminated. The sealing and sliding elements are made with innovative pads created using nanotechnology. These materials exhibit abrasion resistance 15 times greater than steel.

As an alternative to the high-pressure pumps of traditional systems, Schenker systems use the new patented ENERGY RECOVERY SYSTEM ®, which amplifies the pressure provided by low-pressure pumps, enabling extremely high energy efficiency. The typical electrical consumption of a Schenker watermaker is only 4 Watts/liter.
The ERS was specifically designed for marine applications and is made with materials completely resistant to salt water. Moving parts are minimized, thanks to the patented solution that eliminates the need for pilot valves.
