MECC ALTE ES16W-130 SINGLEPHASE ALTERNATOR 4,5 KVA

The alternator MECC ALTE ES16W-130 single-phase, 2-pole is capable of delivering 4,5KVA continuous power complete with ASR voltage regulator.

MECC ALTE ES16W-130 alternators are designed to be exceptionally versatile, they are made to be suitable for all applications where an easy to carry power source is needed.

Mecc Alte portable alternators are available with a wide range of shafts, flanges and fittings. The 2-pole rotors have a damping cage and the stator windings have a reduced pitch to reduce harmonic content.

The alternator cover is die-cast from high-strength aluminum alloy, the shaft is C45 steel with splined fan. The degree of protection is IP23, the insulation is class H and the windings are impregnated with tropicalized epoxy resins.

MECC ALTE ES16W-130 single-phase alternators are designed without brushes and offer high operational reliability. As there are neither collectors nor sliding contacts, only a minimum of maintenance is required.

The MECC ALTE ES16W-130 alternator range is single phase AVR controlled, but designed with brushes and slip ring to allow good voltage regulation and better engine starting.

The purpose of the ASR is to keep the output voltage stable. Its operation is very simple, when resistive loads are fed, more complex is the matter in case of mainly inductive loads: the delayed current opposes the inductor magnetic field, causing a voltage drop at the alternator output terminals; to compensate the phenomenon, the AVR intervenes automatically increasing the excitation current, until the output returns to the nominal value.
